Green Tip of The Day

How to Become a Green Driver:  Here are 3 tips to become a “Greener Driver”

  1. Keep your car properly maintained – a poorly tuned car can use as much as 10-12% more gasoline then a well-tuned car.
  2. Remove unnecessary weight from your car – simple, the lighter your car the less gas it uses.
  3. Obey speed limits (slow down) – your car gets 20% better mileage at 55 mph that at 70 mph.
All cars pollute the environment, no matter what kind of car you drive or the kind of fuel you use.  But that does not mean that you can’t be a “greener driver”, reducing your own car’s contribution to environmental problems is as easy as 1-2-3
