American Weather Folklore- "Nature Weather Predictions"
Does a tough skin apple mean a hard winter? or When apple blossoms bloom at night; for fifteen days no rain in sight?
Which one is True? Nature does seem to be able to predict weather, and the strengthening of skin on fruits and tree bark is often associated with a hard winter. Purchase locally grown fruits and vegetables and you too might possibly be able to predict the weather!
