Green Living Tips:

MYTHS & FACTS ABOUT GOING GREEN:

MYTH: Going green will cost an arm and a leg.
FACT:  There are a variety of cost-effective ways to green your home and lifestyle that can actually SAVE you money.....i.e.: installing low-flow faucets, caulking your windows, purchasing energy star (affordable) appliances, plant a tree......the list goes on.

MYTH: To have a green building, you need the building to be LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified.
FACT:   LEED is setting a standard for existing and new green homes and buildings. You can implement green products and practices into your home or office that reduce energy consumption, save money and save the environment without the building being LEED rated or certified.

MYTH:  One person can't make a difference.
FACT:   I believe that every step towards green is a step in the right direction. Whether you change one habit or your entire way of living, your actions can reduce your carbon footprint and make a world of difference in the long run.

Consider these reasons to Go Green in your home or office......

FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Want to make the world a better place? Implementing green practices into your home or office can help reduce waste, conserve natural resources, improve both air and water quality, and protect ecosystems and biodiversity.

FOR THE SAVINGS
Want to make your dollar go further and have CASH-FLOW? Green systems and materials reduce energy consumption, which in turn reduce your energy bills......making your cash flow further and longer.

FOR YOUR HEALTH
Want to live healthier? Implementing green practices are not just good for the environment; it's also good for YOU.   On average, Americans spend most of their time in the work-place, according to a 2006 study by the Center of the Built Environment, University of California, green office buildings improve productivity and employee satisfaction in the workplace.  Start a Go Green initiative at your office....after all; whether you loathe or love your job.......you will feel better.
